Your toddler is smarter than you know. Mine never ceases to amaze me. Her display of intelligence makes me smile.
She comes into the kitchen when I’m cooking, she stands and observes. If she sees me break eggs into a bowl, she would open the kitchen cupboard, take out the spatula(flipper), and hand it to me.
If I, on the other hand, were slicing plantains, she would give me a frying spoon instead.
When she is done assisting Mummy in the kitchen she claps for herself and returns to watching PJMasks.
Kids are like output devices. Best be careful what you say or do around them.
PS: All sharp and harmful items have been removed from her reach.
How sweet, Ngozi. Mine mimics me to the level that amazes me. She sings well and tries to paint well too. She even tries to tell stories like me…

That is awesome. Todlers are really more intelligent and observant than we give them credit for.

I love this story, fills my face with smiles. It reminds me of my daughters when they were that age, 26 years ago.

Yes my one daughter is a fiber artist and the other one is an environmentalist but is also into graphic art and photography. Neither of them plan to have children yet π
